Washington United Christian Academy will follow the Prince George's County Maryland emergency school-closing schedule for inclement weather. You can get the latest school closing status by clicking on the School's Out web site.
"School's Out, a non-profit organization, provides a free public service that displays the current operating status of K12 Public Schools, Private Schools, Colleges, Child Care Centers, Community Groups and Youth-related Sports Organizations. In addition, this site sends important time-sensitive information via email to its list subscribers. This information can include delays, cancellations, closings, schedule changes, announcements, sports schedules, or community alerts. School's Out E-Alerts can be sent to wireless devices such as cell phones, pagers and PDAs.
The School's Out web site is tied directly to the school system or organization and is updated by the school's or organization's administrative staff."
